• Membership: A Prime membership is required for most deals. Costs are $14.99/month or $139/year in the U.S., with a 30-day free trial available for new members. In India, options include ₹1,499/year (full benefits), ₹799/year (Prime Lite), or ₹399/year (Prime Shopping Edition). Students and young adults (18–24) may qualify for discounted rates, such as $7.49/month or $69/year in the U.S. 

• Deals: Expect discounts up to 50% on brands like Sony, Dyson, Levi’s, Samsung, and Kiehl’s, with new “Today’s Big Deals” dropping daily at midnight PDT. Lightning Deals (limited-time, limited-quantity offers) and up to 30% off Amazon’s own brands will also be featured. Early deals are already live, including up to 80% off on select tech, fashion, beauty products and home goods. 

• New Features:  

• Amazon’s AI assistant, Rufus, will provide personalized deal recommendations and product comparisons. 

• In India, over 1,600 new products from small and medium businesses (SMBs) will launch, with up to 40% off on mobiles and accessories. 

• Additional Benefits:  

• U.S.: $1 off per gallon on one fuel purchase (up to 35 gallons) from July 3–6, and 10 cents off per gallon during Prime Day at participating stations. 

• India: 10% instant savings with ICICI Bank or SBI credit/debit cards, plus 5% cashback for Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card users. 

• Early Deals: Current offers include discounts on Apple AirPods Pro 2 ($169, originally $249), Dyson vacuums, and Ninja Creami, with some deals open to non-Prime members.
